Thank you to our Surveyors

- Farewell to our Fin Whales, until next year! (photo by Stephen Marsh)
The ORCA surveying season has now come to an end for 2014 and it has been a very successful year indeed!
This year ORCA has conducted more surveys than ever before, on more routes than we have ever surveyed on before and we have had some fantastic sightings. We have also continued to forge good working relationships with all our partners and bridge crews and have had great feedback this year regarding the ORCA survey teams.
However none of this would be possible without all of you and therefore on behalf of ORCA I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your time, hard work and commitment to ORCA; it is very much appreciated.
I would also like to thank you for your prompt submission of the survey data and reports, this has enabled us to input the data in a timely fashion and therefore create maps and information for our partners, members and to showcase at events. Please note that all the data you have collected directly feeds into ORCA's science programme to help identify critical whale and dolphin populations and habitats in European and adjoining waters.
Again, thank you all very much and we look forward to another great surveying season in 2015!
