Save Cardigan Bay from dredging
28th Dec 2015
- Bottlenose dolphins (James Robbins)
Proposals have been put forward to commence scallop dredging in Cardigan Bay, an area that is protected as a 'Special Area of Conservation'. These plans could have a negative impact on the marine life living there, including the resident population of bottlenose dolphins and porpoises.
