We embarked at Portsmouth on the 18th September for our final trip across the Bay of Biscay for the 2012 season and what a season it has been. This time we were joined by 105 eager whale-watchers. We were also very lucky to have our Patron, Chris Packham join us on this trip.
ORCA’s fifth ‘I Spy Whales’ mini-cruise from the South coast to Spain was another excellent event with plenty of sightings to keep novices and experts excited.
On Sunday 16th September Zoe Baty completed the Great North Run, to raise money for ORCA to help protect UK whales and dolphins.
Fin, Pilot, Cuvier’s Beaked & Sowerby’s Beaked Whales were among species seen on September Biscay survey.
