A Sei in stormy seas? Latest from the Wildlife Officers

- Common Dolphins

It's been another busy week for our team of Wildlife Officers, with a mixture of stormy seas, fog and sunshine.  Ruth Coxon and Kerry Heseltine bore the brunt of the stormy weather on Brittany Ferries Cap Finistere crossing the Bay of Biscay, but that didn't stop them from seeing pods of Cuviers Beaked Whales and a possible sighting of a Sei Whale - see what you think from the pictures and let us know your thoughts!

- Sperm Whale

Becky Garrity was our Wildlife Officer on Brittany Ferries Pont-Aven this week, where the weather wasn't quite as bad during their crossings across the Bay of Biscay.  She sighted several Sperm Whales, Pilot Whales and Striped Dolphins.

- Harbour Porpoise

Wildlife Education Officer Anna Bunney had a Harbour Porpoise packed week on board DFDS King Seaways, sailing between Newcastle and Amsterdam.  She sighted 31 of the notoriously shy cetaceans and also got to enjoy a day in Amsterdam to join in celebrations for Kings Day.
