Our thanks to the Gateshead Metro Centre staff and their colleagues for all their help when we ran our ORCA stall and tombola raffles in April and July.

Our July tombola was a particularly popular event. Although we started quite early with only few people around numbers soon picked up and the stall was busy for the rest of the day. The team met lots of really nice people and our prize winners were all very pleased to have taken part in this game of chance.

There is always good support for ORCA in the North East region and several members of the public came to visit the stall and ask for information about watching out for whales and dolphins. We ended our day at the centre tired but very happy and will be back there for our recycling project day later in August.
